Les Deux Alpes
This huge ski resort can be seen from Clavans. There are very many trails for all skills, 22 green trails (very easy), 25 blue trails (easy), 21 red trails (medium), 8 black trails (hard). At the top it is possible ski to la Grave.

L'Alpe d'Huez / Auris
From Clavans it is shortest to drive to Auris which has a lift connection with l'Alpe d'Huez. This is also a very big ski resort including 36 green, 28 blue, 25 red and 11 black trails. La Sarenne is one of the great unbroken verticals and longest black piste in the Alps. From the top of l'Alpe d'Huez it is possible to do off-piste down to Clavans.

La Grave
Legendary place for off-piste skiing. Three-stage gondola takes you up to huge vertical. At the very top there is a  glacier with one lift for easier skiing.
